Ka Tahi Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 16-Jun-2016
Bright, very pale straw-yellow colour with light green hues, near colourless on the rim. The nose is softly fresh with harmoniously interwoven aromas of passionfruit and subtle notes of tropical fruits, herbs, green capsicums and minerals. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is fresh and up-front with soft flavours of passionfruit, tropical fruits, herbs and gooseberries, along with some nuances of minerals. This has an elegant core with a fine line, balanced by lacy acidity. The flavours flow easily and recede as the wine carries to a light finish of passionfruit, herbs and minerals. This is a softly fresh, up-front, gentle and balanced Sauvignon Blanc with passionfruit flavours and a light finish. Serve with seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 2 years. Fruit from the Lower Wairau and Lower Waihopi, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc., the wine aged a month on lees with batonnage. 17.0+/20 Jun 2016 RRP $14.99
