Julicher Martinborough Rosé 2013

Rose from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 05-Nov-2013
Bright pale pink colour with some youthful purple hues. The nose is very fresh with bright aromas of strawberries and cream along with cherry pastille and thirst-quenching watermelon notes. Dry to taste, a lovely core of succulent strawberry and cherry fruit is enlivened by crisp, racy and mouthwatering acidity. The mouthfeel is refreshing and the palate line guided by very fine textures. Attractively lifted red floral and watermelon nuances become revealed and the flavours flow to a long, crisp and dry finish with red fruit elements. This is an elegant and refreshingly dry rosé with succulent strawberry and cream flavours. Serve al fresco with antipasto and tapas over the next 2 years. 100% estate Pinot Noir, Abel and 115 clones, given skin contact and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.48% alc. and 2.77 g/L RS. 17.5+/20 Nov 2013 RRP 19.95
