Jules Taylor Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 01-Aug-2017
Bright, pale straw-yellow colour with slight green hues. The nose is gently full and elegant in depth, showing ripe passionfruit and tropical fruit aromas entwined with notes of fresh herbs and snow peas. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has mouthfilling flavours pf passionfruit and tropical fruit with fresh herb elements. The fruit is rich, but balanced by fresh, lacy acidity and very fine and soft phenolic textures providing the wine with good structure. The fruit has depth and intensity, and plenty of vitality, and carries with zestiness to a long, lingering, thirst-quenching finish. This is a flavoursome and mouthfilling Sauvignon Blanc with passionfruit, tropical fruit and herb flavours on a fine-textured, mouthwatering palate with fresh, zesty acidity. Serve with seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 2 years. Fruit from the Hawkesbury, Lower Wairau and Awatere Valley, cool-fermented to 13.0% alc. and 1.1 g/L RS. 18.5-/20 Aug 2017 RRP $23.99
