Joseph Drouhin Meursault 2010

Chardonnay from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 19-Apr-2013
Fully barrel-fermented and aged 12 months in 25% new French oak. Full, light golden-straw colour. The bouquet is very even with pure, ethereal, aromatic notes of nuts and white florals. Medium-bodied, this has a delicate breadth on palate, with ripe citrus fruit flavours along with nutty elements and spicy, toasty oak. The acidity is brilliant for Meursault, providing lovely tension, and carries the palate to a very long, lingering, lightly nuanced finish. This is fresh, lacy and poised. Enjoy over the next 5-7 years. 18.0+/20 Apr 2013 RRP $72.10
