Josef Chromy Tasmania Pinot Noir 2012

Pinot Noir from Australia - Tasmania
Review Date : 30-Dec-2014
Light ruby-red colour with a little garnet on rim. This has a light and aromatically bright bouquet with red cherry and berry fruits, florals and subtle layers of minerals and savoury, near sappy, whole bunch herbal notes. Medium-full bodied, the flavours of dark red berry fruits are bright and fresh with complexing savoury herbal whole bunch interest. This has a tight and firm palate core, with fine-grained tannins, and good acid energy. This is a tight, fresh and bright fruited Pinot Noir with some savoury, herbal complexities. It will develop over the next 5+ years. Tamar Valley fruit, fermented with 25% whole bunch to 13.5% alc., the wine aged 12 months in barrel. 18.5-/20 Dec 2014 RRP AU$38.00
