Bright, full, even straw-yellow colour with geen hues. This has a light, shy bouquet of gooseberries, herbs and nettles, the fruit in the cooler grassy spectrum. Dry to taste and full in body, soft passionfruit and tropical fruit flavours feature, the fruit with a lusciousness and sweetness, unfolding to reveal some savoury bean-like nuances. The mouthfeel is soft and beginning to mellow, the acidity softening, and the some alcohol warmth adding to the breadth. A little textural grip develops on mid-palate, leading to a light, crisp and dry finish. This is an up-front, developing Sauvignon Blanc with some richness. Though cool on nose, this has sweet fruit.
