Full, deep purple with a ruby core, faintly lighter on the rim, youthful appearance. The nose is gently full, aromas of herbs on the entrance, plum, blueberry, spice, vanilla and milk chocolate unfold as it aerated. Medium-bodied, aromas of plum, blueberry, violet interweave sage, eucalyptus, black pepper and milk chocolate. The mouthfeel is elegant and structured with fine-grained tannins; lively acidity carries aromatics to a lingering, dry finish. This elegant Shiraz shows lifted aromatics with plum and blueberry, fine-grained structure and a long, dry finish. Match with lamb and venison over the next 5-7 years.
