Jaeger-Defaix Rully 1er ‘Rabourcé’ 2011

Chardonnay from France - Burgandy
Review Date : 28-Nov-2013
Fully barrel-fermented and aged 18 months in oak. Bright, very pale straw colour. This has a softly full, but fresh nose of ripe citrus fruit aromas, with harmonious and balanced aromas of nutty, spicy oak, the barrel-ferment creamy elements beautifully interwoven. Dry to taste, full, rich flavours of ripe citrus fruits and toasty oak are well integrated and balanced. The palate has presence and fruit weight, and the flavours of fruit and oak opening out and filling the mouth. This flows seamlessly to the sustained finish. 18.0-/20 Nov 2013 RRP $63.00
