Invivo ‘Sophie’s’ Marlborough Rosé 2015

Rose from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 04-Nov-2015
Bright, purple pink colour with some depth, lighter edged. The nose is fresh and intense with bright, vibrant aromas of raspberries, red cherries and fruit pastilles, unfolding subtle, mouthwatering herbal elements. Off-dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate features bright and aromatic fruit flavours of raspberries and cherries. The fruit forms an elegant, tightly bound core with fine-flowing textures and line, and the mouthfeel is enlivened by refreshing, thirst-quenching acidity. Lifted confectionary elements emerge and are carried to a clean, zesty, aromatic finish of florals. This is a bright, tight and crisply refreshing dryish rosé with raspberry and cherry fruit with confectionary lift. Serve as an aperitif and with Asian fare over the next 2 years. 100% Pinot Noir from Hardings Road and O’Dwyers Road, destemmed and crushed with 72 hours plunging and fermented to 12.1% alc. and 5.8 g/L RS. RRP $17.0+/20 Nov 2015 18.99
