Invivo Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 04-Nov-2015
Fruit from Dashwood and the Awatere Valley, cool-fermented in tank to 12.9% alc. and 4.9 g/L RS. Bright pale straw-yellow colour, very clear on the rim. This has an elegantly presented and slender nose, with tightly bound aroma of passionfruit and tropical fruits, along with fresh, mouthwatering mineral notes and lifted white florals. The aromatics build in concentration in the glass. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is well proportioned with light and softly presented flavours of passionfruit, tropical fruits and fresh herbs. This has a fine, tight core and line, the wine guided by light phenolics and energised by fresh acidity. The wine flows with tension to a dry, thirst-quenching finish of passionfruit and minerals. This is an elegant and slender, passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc with refreshing acidity and mineral notes carried by fine textures. Serve with seafood and Pacific Rim fare over the next 2 years. 17.5-/20 Nov 2015 RRP $18.99
