Invivo ‘Graham Norton’s Own’ Marlborough SauviGNon Blanc 2014

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 29-Sep-2014
Bright, very pale straw colour, lighter on rim. This has a full, voluminous nose with softly aromatic and pungent passionfruit and minerally notes, lifted with exotic florals and esters. Dry to taste, harmoniously melded flavours of passionfruit, tropical fruits and florals flow smoothly on a soft-textured palate. The acidity is integral, providing a gentle, mouthwatering freshness and liveliness. The wine opens out and fills the palate with layers of pungent fruit, herbs and minerals, and carries through to a long, sustained, dry finish. This is a soft and harmonious, mouth-filling and gently thirst-quenching, passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc. Serve as an aperitif, with salads and vegetables and seafood over the next 2 years. Fruit from the ‘Windrush’ vineyard, Waihopi, fermented to 12.5% alc. 17.5/20  Sep 2014 RRP $19.99
