Instinct Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 03-Jun-2014
The 2010 vintage in Marlborough is being touted a great one. This is a classic example, the fruit cool-fermented to 13.5% alc. and dryness. Bright, even, pale straw-yellow in colour, this has a fresh, full and broadly expressed nose of vibrant, pungent passionfruit and red capsicums. The palate is full, soft, and ripe with tropical fruit flavours. The breadth of flavour is the feature, the soft acidity contributing to the rounded nature. A little phenolic presence indicates some press wine in the make-up. Drink with seafood, poultry and salads over the next two years. 17.5-/20 Feb 2011 RRP $17.00
