INO Agiorgitiko Nemea 2010

Other Red from Other
Review Date : 25-Aug-2012
Dark, deep, ruby-red colour with youthful hues, lighter on edge. The nose is elegantly soft and sleek with harmoniously interwoven aromas of red berry fruits, dried herbs and earth, piquantly lifted. Medium-bodied, this is elegantly proportioned with gently lush red fruits, dark earth and herb notes all enlivened by fresh acidity. The wine is smooth in texture, near silky, and finishes with a moderately sustained finish of sweet, dark cherry fruit. This is an attractively lively, slender red wine with fine textures. Match with Mediterranean poultry and pork dishes over the next 3-4+ years. Made from Agiorgitiko grapes grown in Nemea, Greece, fermented to 12.5% alc. 17.0+/20 Aug 2012 RRP $21.50
