Indian summer Private Blend Rosé 2020, Hawke’s Bay

Rosé from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 15-Oct-2020
Bright, pale salmon, lighter on the rim. The bouquet is gently-soft, pretty with fragrant florals, melded with aromatic red fruit, watermelon and citrus. Light-bodied, soft and perfumed aromas of watermelon, raspberries, tangerine are well-proportioned, underlay delicate florals and a fine dusting of spices penetrating on the finish. The wine is refreshing with subtle fruit and floral aromas balanced by fresh and lacy acidity, flows on an elegant fine-textured phenolic line. The mouthfeel is smooth-flowing, carries subtle prickly spices flow to a crisp, dry finish. This is an elegant, dry rosé with balanced flavours of watermelon, raspberries and citrus on a smooth-flowing fine-textured palate. Serve as aperitif or match with seafood platter over the next 2 years. A blend of Grenache and Cinsault, fermented to 12.5% alc. Aged in older barrels for 6 months.
