Incognito Methode Traditionnelle NV

Sparkling Wine from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 11-Dec-2012
Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Marlborough, fermented to 12.5% alc. with 5 g/L dosage, the wine spending 18 months on lees. Bright straw-yellow colour, pale on rime, fine bead with moderate persistence. The bouquet is fresh with up-front citrus and white stonefruit aromas and subtle, but positive bread and yeast aromas, the nose unfolding a little nuttiness Very dry to taste and light-bodied, delicately elegant flavours of white florals, and stonefruits with sweet nutty elements sit alongside light yeast notes. This is fine, frothy and lively on palate with lacy acidity. This is quite Chardonnay expressive with its light and fine features which carry through to a crisp and dry finish. This is a very fine, delicate, fresh Chardonnay-styled sparkling to serve as an aperitif over the next 2-3+ years. 17.5-/20 Dec 2012 RRP $17.99
