Incognito Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 12-Jul-2011
Bright, pale, straw-yellow colour with green hues, this has a very fine, tight and intense nose of herbs, nettles and capsicums, still to unfold its aromatics. Dry on palate, this is deeply flavoured with rich and luscious flavours of green herbs, capsicums and minerals. The wine is extremely fine textured and smoothly flowing, enlivened by crisp, racy acidity. The finish is long and sustained with gooseberries and herbal notes. Fruit from the Wairau Valley, cool-fermented in stainless steel, with a portion in oak, to 13.5% alc., given lees contact. Match with all seafood, salad and vegetable dishes and creamy cheeses over the next 2-3+ years. 18.0/20 Jul 2011 RRP $14.00
