Clear, deep ruby-red, even colour throughout, youthful appearance. The nose is attractive and full, with aromas of cherry and redberry interweaving minerals and cocoa. Medium-bodied, aromas of cherry and redberry have a fresh core, entwined with cocoa and dusty minerals. The mouthfeel is finely structured with powdery, ripe tannin, and lively acidity supports and lends a long juicy finish. This Nero D'Avola possesses red fruit, cocoa and an elegant tannin structure. Match with duck and grilled pork chop over the next 3-5 years. Pressing and maceration in tank for 15 days, 13.5% alc, 9g/l RS, aged in tank and wood. 18/20 pts (90 pts) Oct 2022 RRP $21
