Howard Park Mount Barker Riesling 2014

Riesling from Australia - Western Australia
Review Date : 20-Apr-2015
Brilliant pale straw colour. The nose is very refined and tightly bound with pure and subtle lime aromas along with minerals and a hint of flintiness. Dry to taste, the palate is very elegant and fine in expression with thirst-quenching minerality along with lime and white florals underneath. The palate is extremely smooth with dry textures, the wine speaking of finesse. Acidity is ripe and completes the balance. A beautiful and youthful Riesling, 8-10 years ahead. Fruit from Mt Barker and Porongurup, primarily from the Mt barrow vineyard, fermented to 12.0% alc. and 0.6 g/L RS, TA 8.59 g/L and pH 3.00. 19.0+/20 Apr 2015 RRP $35.00
