Holm Oak Tasmania Pinot Noir 2012

Pinot Noir from Australia - Tasmania
Review Date : 30-Dec-2014
Light, even ruby-red colour, youthful in appearance. The nose is soft and broad with accessible and easy ref fruits along with hints of spices, revealing milky, lactic elements and oak vanillins. Medium-bodied, soft, succulent, red plum fruit flavours form a lush amalgam with milky elements and complexing spice and oak detail. The fruit is supported by fine tannin extraction and balanced acidity in the background. The mouthfeel is soft, and gently flowing, carrying to a sweet fruited finish. This is soft, plush and easy. Tamar Valley, a range of clones including 115, 777, MV6, fully destemmed and indigenous yeast fermented to 13.5% alc., the wine aged 10 months in 30% new oak. 17.0+/20 Dec 2014 RRP AU$32.00
