Hawke’s Bay Estate Hawke’s Bay Pinot Gris 2010

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 16-Feb-2011
This shows the faintest blush to the straw-yellow colour, indicating some skin contact. The nose is full and soft with ripe stonefruit and pear aromas, along with nuances of spices and apricots. On palate, this is dry to taste, offering up-front, linear white stonefruit, pear and citrus flavours that have a degree of sweetness, succulence and honied undertones. There is good acidity, though some phenolics dry the finish. 12.5% alc., Hawke's Bay fruit. An all-purpose white to drink over the next 2 years. 16.0/20 Feb 2011 RRP $15.00
