Harwood Hall Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2018

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 20-Nov-2018
Bright straw-yellow colour with some depth, a little lighter on the rim. The nose is fresh and full with good volume of pungent passionfruit aromas interwoven with tropical fruit notes and fresh herbs. The aromatics have good depth and density while retaining stylishness. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has a fine and firmly concentrated core of passionfruit, tropical fruits and fresh herbs. The fruit flows along a fine-textured phenolic line with crisp acidity providing energy and enlivening the mouthfeel. The flavours carry through to a long, lingering, finely concentrated finish. This is a fine and firmly concentrated, passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc flowing on a light-textured line with bright acidity. Match with Pacific Rim fare over the next 2 years. Marlborough fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.8% alc. and 2.0 g/L RS. 18.0/20 Nov 2018 RRP $18.99
