Bright straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, lighter on the rim. The nose is softly voluminous with up-front aromas of passionfruit with notes of tropical fruits, capsicums and herbs. Dryish to taste and medium-bodied, the palate features a softly concentrated core of attractively sweet passionfruit flavours along with notes of tropical fruits, ripe capsicums and herbs. Light phenolic textures balance the fruit sweetness, providing some grip to the mouthfeel, and fresh, lacy acidity lends energy and drive. The sweet passionfruit flavours lead to a light-textured, lingering finish with tropical fruits and herbs. This is an attractively sweet-fruited, passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc with freshness and some grip on the palate. Serve with Pacific Rim fare over the next 18 months to 2 years.
