Hans Herzog Marlborough Arneis 2014

Arneis from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 07-Oct-2015
First made in 1998. Fruit WBP and tank fermented to 13.5% alc. and <1 g/L RS, the wine aged 10 months on lees. Brilliant, very pale straw colour with slight green hues. The nose is bright, vibrant and refreshingly aromatic with exotic florals, stonefruits and fresh herbal notes. Dry to taste, the palate features lusciously rich, plush and juicy fruit flavours of white stonefruits and exotic florals. Herbal detail adds interest and the fruit sweetness is integrated with very fine textures and fresh, lacy acidity. The wine recedes as it carries to a dry finish. An Asian food match over the next 3-4 years. 18.0-/20 Oct 2015 RRP $39.00
