Dark, medium purple with a ruby hue, even colour throughout. The nose is revealing with breadth, filled with savoury notes, cedar, toasty oak and spices; underlying ripened fruit note of plums and blueberries. Medium-bodied, the palate is lush with juicy fruit of plums and blueberries with a savoury undertone; unveiling cedar, toasty oak and spices. The palate is smooth with ripe tannin extraction; balanced by lacy acidity, flows to a savoury and dry finish with linearity. This is a savoury Syrah with flavours of plums and blueberries with cedar, toasty oak detail and spices; balanced by lacy acidity on a smooth tannin palate. Match with lamb barbeque over the next 2-4 years. Fruit from Bridge Pa.
