Gunn Estate ‘Reserve’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 07-Dec-2015
Bright, very pale straw colour, near colourless on the edge. This has a soft, thirst-quenching nose of chalky minerals along with gentle gooseberry fruit and nuances of fresh herbs and cut grass. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate possesses soft, mouthfilling passionfruit flavours. This is up-front and evenly expressed with moderate depth. The wine flows along a fine-textured line and is enlivened by balanced, lacy acidity, carrying through to a dry, chalky, mouthwatering, minerally finish. This is a soft, up-front, gentle passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc with light, chalky and minerally notes. Serve with seafood, salads and vegetables over the next 18 months to 2 years. Marlborough fruit cool-fermented to 12.75% alc. and 6.0 g/L RS. 16.5/20 Dec 2015 RRP $19.99
