Greylands Ridge Central Otago Blanc de Noir 2012

Rose from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 01-Oct-2012
100% Pinot Noir from ‘Greylands Ridge', fermented to 13.0% alc., 20% of the wine undergoing MLF and aged in French oak. Pale straw-yellow with a delicate peachy blush to the colour. This has a softly fresh and full bouquet of yellow stonefruit aromas along with very subtle red fruits and mineral notes. This is very clean with excellent vinosity. Dry to taste, lush and juicy stonefruit and subtle red berry flavours feature on the palate. This builds and becomes softly mouthfilling and the weight and presence is a feature. The acidity is lively and adds vitality and freshness to the mouthfeel, leading to a long, sustained finish. A subtly flavoured blush wine, this has appealing lusciousness, mouthfeel and weight. Match with antipasto, tapas and dim sum over the next 2-3 years. 17.5+/20 Oct 2012 RRP $22.00
