Greylands Ridge ‘Belle’ Central Otago Rosé 2012

Rose from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 01-Oct-2012
Bright, pale pink colour with light purple hues, light on rim. The nose is fresh and clean with attractively pure, fragrant aromas of roses, strawberries and watermelon, with a subtle mineral and herb underlay. This shows with good depth. Dry to taste, bright, vibrant strawberry and red cherry fruit flavours are enhanced by elevated, mouthwatering acidity. This has lusciousness and good depth, the fruit flowing smoothly through the palate, the line carried by the acidity and very fine textures to a long, lingering, dry finish with concentrated fruit essence notes. This is a vibrant and bright fruited rosé to serve as an aperitif and with summer fruits over the next 2 years. 100% Pinot Noir from the ‘Lachlan' block, fermented to 13.0% alc. and 3 g/L rs. 17.5/20 Oct 2012 RRP $20.00
