Graham’s Late Bottled Vintage Port 2007

Fortified Port Style from Portugal
Review Date : 24-Jun-2012
Fruit from one vintage, aged in oak approx. 5 years, 20.0% alc. Very dark, black-hued, purple red, the bouquet has penetrating aromas of ripe black fruits underscored by dark herb and minerally notes, the aromatics piquant and cutting, very refined. Sweet to taste, this is intense, but tightly bound. The wine is elegant and somewhat smaller-proportioned and still to release its fruit potential. Ripe dark fruits, a hint of raisin, and firmness from tannin and alcohol mark the mouthfeel. A fine drying finish is carried by the tannin. A tight and somewhat firm LBV that will develop and soften with elegance. 17.5-/20 Jun 2012 RRP $57.95
