Good Company Marlborough Pinot Noir 2016

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 03-Jul-2017
Even, light ruby-red colour, paler on the rim with slight garnet hues. The nose is soft and light, but fresh with aromas of dark-red cherry and raspberry fruit harmoniously entwined with subtle dark herb elements and a suggestion of whole berry fermentation jam hints. Medium-full bodied, the palate has a moderately concentrated and firm core with lively flavours of dark raspberries and cherries, melded with dark herb notes. The mouthfeel is enlivened by lacy acidity and the palate supported by supple tannins that allow the fruit to prevail. The wine carries with good linearity to a raspberry and herb nuanced finish. This is a moderately concentrated, fresh and lively Pinot Noir with cherry and raspberry fruit along with herb notes, underlined by light tannins. Serve with antipasto, poultry and pork over the next 3 years. Fruit fermented to 13.5% alc., the wine aged with French oak. 16.5/20 Jul 2017 RRP $46.00
