Good Company Marlborough Pinot Gris 2017

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 31-Oct-2017
Bright, pale straw-yellow colour, lighter edged. The nose is fresh with gently concentrated and firmly bound aromas of white and yellow stonefruits with subtle, savoury honeysuckle notes and integrated floral elements, unfolding suggestions of minerals. Dry to taste and medium –bodied, the palate is elegant and well-balanced flavours of white and yellow stonefruits, honeysuckle and florals, forming a firm core and line. The fruit expression is a little restrained, but the palate flows with good freshness and energy, leading to a lingering finish of stonefruits and florals. This is a gently concentrated dry Pinot Gris with restrained fruit flavours of stonefruits, honeysuckle and florals on a palate with good body and palate line. Match with Asian and Middle Eastern dishes over the next 2-3 years. Marlborough fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. and 3.7 g/L RS. 16.5/20 Nov 2017 RRP On-premise only
