Good Company Marlborough Pinot Gris 2016

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 02-Jul-2017
Bright pale straw colour with slight green hues. The nose is fresh and tightly bound with aromas of white stonefruits lifted by subtle exotic floral notes, rose-petals, and nuances of honeysuckle, that show with good depth and intensity. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has good depth and proportion, with moderately concentrated flavours of white stonefruits with subtle notes of exotic florals, and suggestions of honeysuckle. The mouthfeel is fresh and lively with lacy acidity, and the wine flows with plenty of drive along a fine, taut core and line, leading to a fresh, crisp finish. This is a crisp and lively dry Pinot Gris with stonefruit and floral flavours on a taut, linear palate. Match with Asian fare over the next 2-3 years. Fruit cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 3.8 g/L RS. 17.0+/20 Jul 2017 RRP $38.00
