Good Company Hawke’s Bay Rosé 2016

Rose from New Zealand - Hawke's Bay
Review Date : 02-Jul-2017
Moderately deep cerise-pink colour, lighter on the edge with slight purple hues. This has an up-front, firmly packed nose with aromas of cherries, and raspberries and cream, along with some confectionary lift. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has full and up-front flavours of raspberry and cherry confectionary. The mouthfeel is soft and gently textured with some underlying phenolics, and the acidity is balanced and integrated. The flavours form a firm core and are carried with good linearity to a finish of raspberries and confectionary. This is an up-front, dry rosé with cherry, raspberry and confectionary flavours and a softly-textured palate with a firm core. Serve as an aperitif and with antipasto over the next 2 years. Based on Merlot, the fruit was given brief skin contact and fermented in stainless-steel to 13.0% alc. and 2.8 g/L RS. 16.0+/20 Jun 2017 RRP $38.00
