Gladstone Vineyard Gladstone Rosé 2011

Rose from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 21-Sep-2011
Bright, light pink colour with depth and youthful, pale-purple hues. This is soft and gently full on the nose with aromas of red berry fruits, melons, confectionary and musk. Dry to taste and full-bodied, the palate has rich, sweet, succulently ripe, mouthfilling fruit flavours of strawberry and melons with red berry fruits. Though soft-textured and round, there is good acid freshness and slipperiness adding to the brightness of the fruit. Attractive fruit nuances show on the medium-length, dry finish. Made from Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec fruit from the ‘Dakins Road' block, left on skins for 12 hours and cool-fermented to 13.5% alc. and 2.77 g/L rs. A succulent and juicy rosé to match with antipasto and white meat courses over the next 2 years. 18.0/20 Sep 2011 RRP $25.00
