Sparkling Wine from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 14-Jul-2025
Bright, even, pale yellow. Gentle, fine bead. The nose is appealing, with aromas of passionfruit, white currant, gooseberry, herbs, and white spice. Medium-light bodied, aromas of passionfruit, gooseberry and whitecurrant entwined with citrus zest, saline and a hint of fresh herb. The fruit is juicy with detailed layers, and invigorating acidity injects freshness alongside the fine mousse, lending a crisp, appetising finish. Serve as an aperitif and match with seafood platter over the next 3 years. 13% alc. 18.5/20 pts (93 pts) Jul 2025
