Fromm Marlborough Riesling Spatlese 2006

Riesling from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 13-Mar-2012
7.5% alc., 79 g/L rs, a pH of 2.68 and TA of 9.9 g/L. Straw-yellow, and still tightly bound and concentrated on nose, the sugar and acid balance teeters between richness and raciness, the tension quite remarkable. Citrus fruit with honey elements, and fine toasty secondary nuances emerge. This is still tight and restrained, providing style. This will continue to grow in flavour over the next 6-8 years.  18.5-/20  Mar 2012
