Fromm ‘La Strada’ Marlborough Pinot Noir 2006

Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 14-Mar-2012
Lighter ruby-red with garnet hues, this has up-front ripe black and red fruit aromas, still with plenty of primary characters, and little secondary development. Concentrated on palate, this has a tight core of ripe dark fruits, beautifully rich and succulent, the acidity providing excellent tension and freshness. This is very harmonious, the tannins building slowly. Delicious now, this will develop more complexity over the next 3-5+ years. Fruit from the ‘Clayvin' vineyard, 14.0% alc.  19.0-/20  Mar 2012
