French Peak Banks Peninsula Rosé 2015

Rose from New Zealand - Canterbury & Waipara
Review Date : 07-Dec-2015
Light candy-floss pink with some depth, lighter on the rim. This has a tightly bound, fresh, clean and delicate nose with aromas of strawberries, quince, cranberries and watermelon, along with thirst-quenching mineral nuances. Dry to taste and light-medium bodied, the fruit flavours of strawberries, cranberries and quince are light in expression, but show with clarity and accessibility. The mouthfeel is refreshing with mouthwatering, lacy acidity and the palate flows along a fine-textural thread, leading to a light, dry finish. This is a clean, crisp, refreshing dry rosé with light strawberry and quince flavours. Serve as an aperitif over the next 18 months to 2 years. Pinot Noir fruit given limited skin contact and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.1% alc. and 3.71 g/L RS. 16.5/20 Dec 2015 RRP $25.00
