Framingham ‘Nobody’s Hero’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 05-Dec-2017
Bright, pale straw-yellow colour, a little lighter on the edge. The nose is fresh and up-front with bright aromas of passionfruit, fresh herbs, snow peas and cut grass. The aromatics are clean, moderately punchy and pungent in expression. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has taut and intense flavours of passionfruit, herbs, green capsicums and cut grass, the fruit in the cooler spectrum. The flavours form a tightly bound core and line, and the mouthfeel is brisk and zesty, with the acidity driving the palate along a light-textured, firm, thirst-quenching line, leading to a passionfruity and grassy finish. This is a tightly bound, cool-spectrum Sauvignon Blanc with passionfruit, cut-grass and herb flavours on a brisk, mouthwatering, firm line. Serve with seafood, and salads and vegetables over the next 2 years. Fruit from 5 sites in the Wairau Valley, fermented in stainless-steel to 12.5% alc. 16.5/20 Dec 2017 RRP $15.00
