Forrest ‘The Doctors’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 18-Feb-2016
Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues. This has a softly concentrated and voluminous nose of pungent passionfruit aromas harmoniously melded with subtle tropical fruit and white floral elements. Off-dry to taste and light-bodied, the flavours of pungent passionfruit gently fill the mouth and flow smoothly across the palate. The mouthfeel is soft with very light phenolics and a possesses a delicate guiding core and line. The acidity is balanced and emerges to enhance the juiciness of the fruit and carry the wine to a crisp, racy, moderately long finish. This is a soft, smooth-flowing, harmonious, light-bodied Sauvignon with up-front passionfruity flavours. Serve with Asian and Pacific Rim fare over the next 2 years. Marlborough fruit fermented to 9.5% alc. and 8.5 g/L RS. 17.5+/20 Oct 2015 RRP $22.00
