Pinot Noir from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 24-Feb-2016
Dark, deep, ruby-red colour. The bouquet is full with deep aromas of black and dark-red fruits melded with waves of dark herbs and savoury game and undergrowth notes. Attractive red florals unfold. Medium-full bodied, the palate is rich and plush with stylishly sweet and aromatic red fruits harmoniously interwoven with savoury dark herbs and undergrowth. The extraction is very fine-grained and the wine flows seamlessly with fresh underlying acidity lending energy. Great finesse and red fruit expression with very refined complex layers. Marked by wide diurnal range at the end of the growing season. 14.0% alc. 19.0+/20 Feb 2016 RRP $N/A
