Brilliant colour, a little golden hue. Tight and intense on bouquet, real depth with stonefruits, citrus and mealy layers, plenty of gunflint to match the fruit, a little oak toast showing. Still fresh, but with complexity. Medium-full bodied, this has a fine, elegantly concentrated palate with slight secondary interest, with savoury stonefruits and citrus fruits, flinty reduction, minerals and toast. The flavours are rich, but there is underlying freshness. The mouthfeel is one of vitality. This is poised and balanced. 13.5% alc. 19.0/20 Feb 2016 RRP $N/A
