Farmers Market Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 14-Sep-2016
Bright, light straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, paler on edge. The nose is fresh, light and even in expression with gentle volume of gooseberry fruit along with savoury fresh herb notes, unfolding passionfruit, cut grass and nettle hints. Dryish to taste and medium-full bodied, the palate possesses up-front flavours of gooseberries and passionfruit, along with subtle herb, cut grass and green capsicum notes. The palate is crisp and mouthwatering with a light, drying, phenolic-textured line and zesty acidity carrying the wine to a dry finish of gooseberries, passionfruit and nettles. This is an up-front, even flavoured Sauvignon Blanc with a zesty, dry mouthfeel and flavours of gooseberries, passionfruit, herbs and nettles. Marlborough fruit cool-fermented to 14.0% alc. 16.5/20 Sep 2016 RRP $15.99
