Bright, even, medium yellow. Fine and vibrantly consistent bead. The nose is softly full with aromas of citrus preserve, baked apple, stonefruit, a hint of oyster shell and developed autolysis elements. Full-bodied, the palate is washed with baked apple tart, lemon preserve and peach, entwined with toasted brioche and yeasty richness. The vigorous mousse elevates the palate with freshness and presence; integrated acidity carries a slightly chalky texture to a satisfying finish. This Methode Traditionnelle is well-made with generous flavours and texture. Match with lemon chicken and roasted pork over the next 5+ years.
