Escarpment Martinborough Pinot Blanc 2012

Pinot Blanc from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 11-Nov-2013
Pale straw colour with slight green hues. The nose is finely proportioned with soft white stonefruit aromas, quite fruit-focussed and pure. Dry to taste, this is tightly bound and fruit-pure. White stonefruits and a little hint of tropical fruit show. The palate is guided by a fine and light phenolic line and while the acidity is crisp, providing the drive, it is certainly not searing. The wine finishes dry and delicately textured. This s a crisp, clear, fruit-driven classical Pinot Blanc. Stainless-steel fermented to 13.0% alc. and <2 g/L RS, with light lees work. 17.5-/20 Oct 2013. RRP $TBA
