Eradus Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 28-Nov-2011
Bright straw-yellow colour with some green hues, this has a soft, finely expressed nose of English gooseberry fruits, herbs and minerals along with hints of exotic tropical fruits. There is some breadth to the bouquet, but also a stylishness. Dry on palate, this has restrained gooseberry and minerally fruit expression, textbook Awatere Valley, with a soft textured palate, balanced by good acidity. A subtle richness and sweetness contributes density, weight and length. Serve as an aperitif or with poultry salads and vegetable dishes over the next 2+ years. Made from fruit from the ‘Breloft' vineyard. 18.0+/20 May 2011 RRP $21.50
