Eradus Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2009

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - Marlborough
Review Date : 28-Nov-2011
Classical Awatere Valley Sauvignon Blanc, cool-fermented to 13.0% alc and an imperceptible 3.5 g/L rs. Fruit sourced from the ‘Breloft' vineyard. Bright straw yellow with a pale edge in colour, this has a full, rich nose of ripe gooseberry fruit and yellow capsicums. The aromatics are lush and rich and just beginning to show savoury nuances and interest. Dry on palate, the vitality and vibrancy of the wine is sensational. Sweet, ripe fruit with a fine, smooth acid edged that speaks of the Awatere Valley. This is drinking superbly now, and will continue to do so over the next 18 months. 19.0-/20 Nov 2010 RRP $21.50
