Deep ruby-red, even colour throughout. The nose is full, with aromas of blackberry, black plum, dry herbs, iodine and spice. Full-bodied, aromas of ripe blackberry and black plum, entwined with dry herbs, black pepper, nutmeg and a touch of earthiness. The fruit is ripe with a well-balanced flavour and opulent profile, and fine-grained tannins provide a framework and broaden the mouthfeel.
