Deep ruby-red, even colour throughout. The nose is gently full, with aromas of black plum and berry, violet, spice and subtle meaty nuance. Full-bodied, aromas of black plum and berry, melded with violet, liquorice and star anise. The fruit is weighty, elevated by spice; a gently firm grip of tannins enriches a black-fruited finish.
