Review Date : 19-Oct-2016
Moderately deep strawberry pink colour with slight purple hues on the rim. The nose is moderately deep and rounded with gently full and voluminous aromas of fresh strawberries and red cherry fruit with nuances of raspberries, red florals and subtle confectionary nuances. Off-dry and medium-bodied, the palate possesses gently sweet and rich flavours of strawberries and cherries with nuances of raspberries intermingling with floral and confectionary elements. Some thyme herb notes emerge to add detail. The mouthfeel is soft and rich, with a rounded heart, the sweetness balanced by light textures and underlined by soft acidity. The wine carries to a rich and sweetly juicy finish with lollyish notes. This is a gently rich, rounded, off-dry rosé with strawberry, cherry and raspberry confectionary notes. Match with Asian fare over the next 2 years.
