Dry River ‘Craighall’ Martinborough Riesling 2008

Riesling from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 02-May-2011
With 5 g/L rs, this is bright, light golden-straw coloured and has a shy, restrained nose, but with excellent volume and presence. Subtle lime fruit with complex toastiness and hints of honey show. Dryish to taste, this has a very fine, soft textured palate, quite unctuous, but very finely expressed with toast and honey bottle-development characters. The excellent acidity adds to the finesse, and it is clear this will develop another 5-7+ years easily.  Apr 2011
